Sophie Butcher L Ac graduated from the Santa Barbara School of Oriental Medicine in 2001, she received her Acupuncture License the same year.  Since then she has completed many courses and seminars related to fertility and Chinese Medicine. She has trained with Randine Lewis, L Ac and  Mike Berkeley L Ac -  who are both leaders in the field - among others.

Sophie has been specializing in fertility enhancement for over eight years. She works with IVF clinics in both Ventura County and in LA. Having worked closely with these clinics she has gained considerable knowledge regarding the Western treatment of infertility. It was whilst going through fertility problems of her own many years ago that Sophie discovered the benefits of acupuncture. Having experienced some problems of her own in this area means that Sophie has some idea of what her patients are going through.
